WTRAA’S 2008 SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION The WTRAA Scholarship Committee is now accepting scholarship applications. You can get a copy of the application from the “National Towing News” or by clicking on "Download WTRAA Scholarship Application" in the right hand margin. Any questions can be directed to Stacey Tucker, WTRAA Scholarship Committee Chairperson at 360-479-7500. Please be sure that the application is completed fully and received by the committee by the cut off date of June 9, 2008. Good luck to all applicants! ROADSIDE SAFETY “DRESS FOR SUCCESS” DVD NOW AVAILABLE We would like to thank WTRAA and TRAA Education Committee members Ruth Landau, Angela Roper and Marcie Gratzianna, who were part of a team to help produce a new safety DVD entitled “Dress for Success”. The DVD was shown for the first time at the TRAA Legislative Conference held on March 7th and 8th. Order one for your company today – it is a small price to pay for roadside safety education. WTRAA MEETING SET FOR MAY 29, 2008 All tow ladies are invited to the WTRAA spring meeting at the CTTA Western States Tow Show at the Silver Legacy Resort & Casino in Reno on May 29, 2008 at 12:30 in the “Flavors” Restaurant. Some agenda items will be a new logo for WTRAA and the 2008 Tow Woman of the Year Award. WTRAA SCHOLARSHIP FUND TO BENEFIT FROM TOW TIMES “HUNKS OF TOWING CALENDAR CONTEST” SPEED TV TO HIGHLIGHT O’HARE TOWING & RECOVERY OF CHICAGO THIS SUMMER ON NEW SERIES CALLED “WRECKED” 2008 TOW WOMAN OF THE YEAR AWARD Start thinking about that special WTRAA member you would like to nominate for this very prestigious award.
